I made a deal with the devil...

UGH...so apparently, the other night, while 3/4 asleep, I made a deal with my sweet, loving husband...who knowingly took advantage of my sleepy state for his own gain :-/. I made him a deal that  I would grow my hair out, like it was in high school (he had seen pictures of this from packing and moving) if he would not cut his beard (I like his beard and his facial hair, alot)
Now, I know you are thinking, 'that is it, that is the deal you made?' Yes, yes it is and if you know me, you know how truly AWFUL this is. I LOATHE having my hair long, I hate the process of growing it out, I hate having to use an entire bottle of shampoo and conditioner on it with each shower, I hate having to brush it for 45 minutes in the morning, I hate having to deal with it, I hate having to see what kind of state my hair is in in the morning before I can decide what I am going to do with it, I hate that my head of hair has a mind of its own, I hate how its not quite curly, its now quite straight and its not a pretty wavy, its the in between ugly state of hair style, I hate how hot I get at night with it, I hate it sticking to my neck, so on and so on...I could go on for an entire paper, but I will stop there, you get the picture! Now, just because I hate long hair on me doesn't mean I don't like it on others, no that is not the case, in fact, I LOVE long hair on other women. I think it is so pretty, gorgeous, flowy and flattering. I always admire them and think that is what I want and then I wake up and remember what it is like to have long hair on my head...absolute misery.
I could tell you why Stephen wants my hair long, but I am sure you know. If you have ever met a man, they all like long hair and it is all for the same reason. Said reason does not need to be shared here, this is not that type of blog, HA! No really, all men for some reason like long hair, I have yet to meet one that would choose short over long and it is just so weird to me, but whatever, men are weird and most of us know this!
I mean I could just not keep my end of the deal and not grow my hair out which would mean that Stephen would then not keep his beard. He would keep it shaved for good and not grow any facial hair. I know I am probably the minority in saying that I like facial hair and that is okay. I do and I think it looks incredibly sexy on Stephen, so, I will grow out my hair and buy lots of clips, rubberbands, headbands and bobby pins on my weekly coupon runs ;). Who knows, maybe I will like it and learn how to style it all cute and fun...Oh, who am I kidding, that won't happen, HA! However, if you do have any 'long hair' tips, please feel free to share. I haven't had long hair in a while and the only thing I know how to do with it is straighten it and put it up in a bun on the top of my head which in turn makes me look like a sloppy hot mess.
So my deal with the devil has been made and in about 12 months, I will have hair as long as it was in high school (yes, my hair grows ridiculously fast, I am also going to start taking prenatals to make it grow quicker and I have 'pinned' about a dozen ways to make your hair grow fast, lol. I figure if I am going to do this, it mine as well go by fast instead of at a snails pace)!!
