The Waiting Game

WHERE WILL THE ADAM'S FAMILY BE IN 6 MONTHS??

This month marks a very unsure month for us. We should find out by the end of the month where Stephen will be going to grad school and where essentially, we will be moving to. There are 4 different options for us: Auburn in Auburn, AL; UT in Austin; A&M in College Station and MIT in Boston, MA! I, of course, would LOVE to return to Auburn; however, Boston would obviously be A LOT of fun and a whole different experience for our family, that we might not ever have again! So until we find out...................we play, the waiting game. Count down the days, watch each day pass slower then the previous one, wonder what they will offer him for grad school, wonder which school will respond first, wonder which school will email next with the heading 'Items you are missing in your application packet' (which seems to be happening alot, ahhh higher institutions :/) etc. etc.
For someone like me, a 'planner, organizer, type A, worry wart' this process is AWFUL..........I hate just sitting around and not have any control over the situation (Yes, I know this is good for me and a lesson in patience). I need to know: where we will be going, when he needs to be there by to start, where the kids will go to school, where will I work, what am I going to do about school (stay at SFA and be a distance learning student or apply to a different Masters program?), where will we live in our new town, how big of a truck do we need for moving, when do we need to plan on having a garage sale, how expensive is this going to cost us, is it going to take us a day or more then a day to travel to our new place etc. etc. These are all things that run through my head daily (Yes, I have alot going on in there!!)
I am ready to know where we will be moving to and am very excited to see where that will be!! Stephen on the other hand is, beyond TERRIFIED that he won't get in to anywhere and we will be stuck in Nac (which for me, would not be a bad problem, but for him, it would be ;). Let me just point out that Stephen is THE smartest person that I know (4.0 GPA in physics which will be his 3rd degree) and if he cannot get in to any of these schools for what he wants to do, then our graduate school program is falling apart in this country and we are all screwed!!

So to answer the question that was posed, "Where will the Adam's family be in 6 months?" I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA :/
